The blog title is the funny headline from a recent National Enquirer article where I was asked what I thought about Courteney Cox’s lips. Although I don’t recall ever yelling for her to “Stop The Drastic Plastic!” I do think her lips look quite overdone. In fact, they are bordering on trout pout levels. She’s such a natural beauty and would look even better with smaller, natural lips.
The photo here is from 2012, but there is a more recent photo on the National Enquirer article HERE.

According to Celebuzz.com, Courteney Cox has admitted to using Botox. In a recent interview with Marie Claire magazine she stated:
“Botox? I think it’s fantastic and also horrible,” she said. “I mean, they’ve come up with this stuff that can make you not look angry. But you have to use it sparingly.”
Us reports that Cox-Arquette, 44, says she did indeed have the venom injected into her face, but she wasn’t a huge fan. “I was miserable,” she says.
“I mean, I’m an actor, I’ve got to be able to move my face.”
If Botox is injected tastefully, people can still retain a natural look and expressions. It’s those physicians who create a ‘frozen forehead’ where the expressions can be obliterated.
Do you think she has Botox in this photo?

According to the Post Chronicle, David Arquette has banned his wife Courteney Cox from having plastic surgery. According to the article:
Former Friends star Courteney Cox is eager to undergo plastic surgery to slow down the signs of aging – but her husband David Arquette has banned her from doing so.
The 42-year-old actress gave birth to the couple’s daughter Coco in 2004, and Cox is desperate to regain her pre-pregnancy figure with a little help from the surgeon’s knife.
She says, “I have a permanent baby belly after having Coco and I have issues with getting older. I obsess over the changes. David has a huge problem with surgery, but I don’t.”
Ths photos I’ve seen of Courteney look pretty good. She probably wouldn’t benefit much from a tummy tuck anyway. I’ve always wondered what she saw in him. Granted, he was once the WCW (World Championship Wrestling) Heavyweight champion, but still!

With all the talk about Jessica Simpson admitting to having Restylane injections (and not liking them), check out the latest post on Good Plastic Surgery.com. They have photos of Courtney Cox with a set of plumped up lips which look pretty good.
The key to a set of nicely-augmented lips is maintaining the natural lip proportions. In most people, the lower lip is 1.5 times the size of the upper lip. Many surgeons tend to overaugment the upper lip, creating an unnatural appearance which can be spotted by virtually anybody. This can be seen in people like Meg Ryan, Lisa Rinna, Melanie Griffith, and Mick Jagger (ha!).
