Has Brad Pitt Undergone Radiesse Injections?

The National Enquirer is reporting that Brad Pitt has undergone filler injections as a way to look younger. According to Celebitchy:

The 46-year-old actor has been getting injections of the wrinkle filler Radiesse to make his face look younger and smoother, the Enquirer has learned. And it appears to be having the desired effect. Not only does Brad’s face look brighter and more radiant, Angelina has given her seal of approval.
“Brad hasn’t looked this good in years – and Angelina is definitely pleased about his makeover…”
For months, the actor hid behind a scraggly beard “because he was so self-conscious about how he was aging.”

I haven’t seen photos of him, but a little Radiesse can definitely take off some years. I’d probably recommend a little Sculptra to fill in some of the gaunt areas of his face.

Has Brad Pitt Had Chemical Peels and Filler Injections?

Star Magazine has recently run a spread on Brad Pitt’s “Plastic Surgery Secret.” A very well-respected New York-based plastic surgeon believes he may have had a chemical peel to smooth the skin and filler injections such as Restylane or Juvederm to fill his wrinkles. Source.

He does look quite a bit better. The two photos are hard to compare, however, due to the different expressions in each one. The photo from Sept 6 has him looking surprised, with an open mouth, whereas the Nov 6 photo shows him smiling. It is a very common practice among plastic and cosmetic surgeons to use before and after photos which do not show the same pose. Because most everyone looks younger when they smile (since their cheeks look fuller and help cover up bags under the eyes) these photos are commonly used as ‘after’ pictures. The most famous Lunchtime Facelift (you know who they are!) before and after photos are a prime example of what I consider deceptive advertising. It’s almost as if they ask the patient to look as old and grumpy as possible in the before, and then in the after they crane their neck up and smile. It’s too bad that most people can’t spot this!

Brad and Angelina Top Plastic Surgery Poll

A survey by the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery found that more people request to look like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie than any other Hollywood celebrity.

The informal poll of 20,000 plastic surgeons in 84 countries asked which celebrity body parts were the most requested.

Some of the results:

Angelina Jolie was the overwhelming choice for most requested smile and lips, followed by Julia Roberts.
Jolie’s eyes and cheeks were also the most requested.
The most requested buttocks: Jennifer Lopez
The most requested breasts: Pamela Anderson
The nose everyone wants: Nicole Kidman (sorry Ashlee Simpson!)
The most requested male abs: Brad Pitt, followed by Matthew McConaughey
Many people also requested Brad Pitt’s nose, eyes, chin, buttocks, lips, cheeks, and forehead.
A significant percentage of people request NOT to look like Pam Anderson, Dolly Parton, or Victoria Beckham.

I would have to agree with most of the findings EXCEPT:

I’ve never had a patient request that I make her breasts look like Pam Anderson’s. In fact, I find that most patients are afraid they’ll wake up after surgery with “Baywatch Breasts.”
I’ve never had a patient ask for Nicole Kidman’s nose, but many who have asked for Ashlee Simpson’s.
I find that many patients who seriously want to look like a celebrity can be a bit on the nutty side, and would be better treated in a psychiatric clinic than a plastic surgery office.
