Alexa Ray Joel Addresses Rumors That She’s Had A Breast Augmentation

Alexa Ray Joel has recently taken to her Facebook page to refute rumors she’s had a breast augmentation.  From her Facebook:

I would like to take a moment to respond with complete and unabashed honesty to the following links below from TMZ & Daily Mail (Mail Online), as well as the Daily News [which is not linked here]: Aside from getting Rhinoplasty-Surgery a few years ago– [which I have been blatantly honest and candid about in the past]– I have not had any further work done. (Not on my face, or anywhere else- for that matter.) I fervently believe that it should be every woman’s imperative to l…ove, accept, embrace, and celebrate their exterior– BUT: the act putting your “best self” forward– in every sense of the word– involves work that’s rooted from within. I have gone back to being a vegetarian, and I only eat all-organic now– which helps. It also helps to improve your skincare regimen- as I have recently done (I highly recommend “Skinceuticals” brand for top-quality tightening/moisturizing/firming/medical-grade skincare). What helps more drastically than even the most substantiated diet or skincare regimen? Confidence and Self-Esteem. I believe in the importance and value of approaching beauty from the inside-out, as opposed to the outside-in. If you begin to nourish yourself on every level: physically, mentally, spiritually, internally, externally, psychologically [the list goes on!]– and care for yourself properly, you are going to look and [much more importantly] FEEL 100% better. This is simply what I have done. Multiple Plastic Surgeries is NOT something that I support, endorse, encourage, or even remotely participate in. As for the difference in my pictures slated in the articles below: It’s simply the stark-visual contrast between effectively-applied makeup [check out Caitlin Monahan on Facebook for a completely natural "cosmetic lift" with only makeup!] and no makeup at all [with puffy eyes- we all get them sometimes- and- hey, that's fine with me].
Although her chest looks like it definitely could have been enhanced, I’ll give her the benefit of a doubt and take her word for it.  Since her dad is Billy Joel she can do no wrong, in my humble opinion.  She looks great, implants or not!

Best and Worst Celebrity Plastic Surgery of 2010

2010 is a distant memory, but the celebs who’ve benefitted and suffered from plastic surgery are here to stay.  Here is a list of Dr. Youn’s Best and Worst Celebrity Plastic Surgeries of 2010:

BEST:

5. Alexa Ray Joel – Rhinoplasty – Subtle, but nicely done.  Alexa admitted the surgery to People Magazine, stating, “I was thinking about getting this for years. It’s always bothered me a little bit. I was self-conscious of pictures taken from the side.”  Check out Alexa’s before and after photos here.

4. Lisa Rinna – Lip reduction – Good for her!  Lisa’s famous trout-pout was downsized earlier this year as she underwent lip reduction surgery. Her lips now have ‘normal’ proportions and look great.   Although my peeps tell me she may have had some minor complications, everything looks great.  Nice job by Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Garth Fisher.  Check out Lisa’s new lips here.

3. Jane Fonda – Facelift, lower blepharoplasty - Ten years after saying she would not have plastic surgery, Jane decided to go under the knife. In her blog, she admitted, “I just had some ‘work’ done on my chin and neck and had the bags taken away from under my eyes…” After surgery photos reveal a youthful look without appearing pulled or tight.  Check out Jane’s new face here.

2. Kate Hudson - Breast augmentation (unverified) – Kate appears to have had a conservative breast augmentation this year, likely going from a AA to a nice B.   Even better, she didn’t get back together with that creepy Chris Robinson from the Black Crowes.  Check out Kate’s new acquisitions here.

and the number one Best Plastic Surgery of 2010 is….

1. Julie Bowen – Breast Augmentation (unverified) – The star of my favorite program on TV (Modern Family) and one of my all-time favorite shows (ED) looks fantastic.  Julie’s breasts fit her body well and are not excessively large, therefore look fairly natural.  Check out Julie’s cleavage here.

And now, my Three Worst Celebrity Plastic Surgeries of 2010:

3. Heidi Montag – Ten plastic surgeries in one day – Too much has been said about her already, so I’ll make it brief: Too Much, Too Young.  A sad epilogue to her plastic surgery adventure is the untimely death of her plastic surgeon followed by her subsequent trashing of him on national TV.  Can you say, “No Class?”  Check out all my other posts on Heidi and her surgery here.

2. Lindsay Lohan – Lip enhancement (unverified) -  Between court appearances and rehab Lindsay apparently found time to visit a plastic surgeon to plump her lips to unnatural proportions.  Freaky Friday, indeed!  Check out Lindsay’s lips here.

and the absolute worst plastic surgery of 2011….

1. Octomom Nadya Suleman – Tummy tuck (unverified) – This nitwit thinks she can fool us by denying she’s had a tummy tuck after having a massively stretched out abdomen from octuplets!  Her tummy is now flat as a board.  It’s literally flat like a wooden board, with absolutely no definition, loose skin, or contours.  Plus,  her belly button looks like her surgeon either created it herself or inset it as a vertical slit.   This is a telltale sign of a tummy tuck.  Hopefully in 2011 obscurity will welcome back the Octomom with open arms.  Check out Octomom tummy photos here.

Thanks for reading my blog in 2010!  I wonder what 2011 has in store?  Maybe an A-lister will cop to a facelift?  Maybe Nicole Kidman will finally admit to having Botox?  Or possibly there will be a crazy reality show that combines Bridezilla with Survivor with Extreme Makeover?  Oh yeah, that’s already happened…

Alexa Ray Joel – Rhinoplasty

Alexa Ray Joel, daughter of Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley, has admitted to People magazine that she’s had a rhinoplasty (nose job). According to the New York Daily News,

“I was thinking about getting this for years,” the 24-year-old singer told People magazine. “[It's] always bothered me a little bit. I was self-conscious of pictures taken from the side.” She said she underwent rhinoplasty earlier this month.

The only photos I’ve seen are from the front, not the side. From the front she looks a bit straighter, but otherwise the same. It sounds like she had a bump on her nose that she wanted removed, one of my favorite things to do.

Her father is one of my favorite singers. Piano Man, Scenes from an Italian Restaurant, River of Dreams, Rosalinda’s Eyes, Vienna, Say Goodbye to Hollywood, etc. etc. He rocks. Awesome concert performer too. I would give my left leg for a private concert with Billy
