Reportedly, the doctor sews a postage-size stamp piece of Marlex mesh to your tongue, making it so painful to eat that you have to stay on a liquid diet.     This is awful! What happens when the tongue is removed and you can eat normally again? I would probably still eat anyway with the patch on, lol.
