Jenny McCarthy: Botox Made Her Drool?

According to Jenny McCarthy, a Botox injection made her drool.  From Starpulse:

She says, “I have a weird relationship with that substance – I love it and hate that I need it.”

But a routine treatment went horribly wrong for the former Playboy Playmate and movement in her chin was completely paralyzed, leaving her drooling from the sides of her mouth for months.

She explains, “I had a weird incident where a plastic surgeon put it in my chin… and I had to go to a talk show… and it was completely frozen. I had drool coming down the sides of my face. I’m not kidding.”

This is a very unusual thing to happen after Botox injections.  Botox can be injected into the muscles under the corners of the mouth to lift them.  This would not result in drooling, though.  If she had a Gordon Ramsay-like “golf ball chin” then maybe the doctor injected it into the muscle of her chin and lower lip.  This could conceivably cause her to drool.  Bell’s palsy could also cause this.  As could a hot and juicy Five Guys Cheeseburger.  Yum.

It’s such a shame when people have a bad experience with cosmetic procedures. They’re really quite safe if you pick a good doctor!

Jenny didn’t look to me like anyone who’d need Botox.
