Celebs and their plastic surgery

Joan Collins – Plastic Surgery and New Anti-Aging Cream

74 year old Joan Collins is the spokesperson for a new anti-aging cream, called Cellex-C Age-less 15 Skin Signaling Serum. According to reports, she has been less than kind when discussing plastic surgery:

The Dynasty star denied having plastic surgery, claiming lipstick was her secret weapon in the fight against aging. She said: “The most glamorous thing you can do is use lipstick.”Joan – who last year revealed her top tips for staying young in her book ‘The Art Of Living Well’ – has previously made her position on surgery abundantly clear, and recently described Botox as “poison”. She said: “Everyone should do what they want. If they want lips like a trout let them. Plastic surgery is the plain women’s revenge.”

I find her comments offensive. I have never seen a 74 year old look as good as she does without plastic surgery. That must be one heck of an anti-aging cream. Apparently it is the actual Fountain of Youth that civilization has searched for for thousands of years!

yes, but look at her arse. Joan’s derriere was shown repeatedly in Star and other tabloids a few years ago. Sagging, sagging, sagging. A sight not to be seen. For actors, deceit is a professional necessity. It would be unprofessional for Joan Collings, the actress, not to lie. I’m sure she tells friends to whom she is simply a woman about her many trips to the plastic surgeon’s office.

Your choice of the word offensive is absolutely correct. I love Joan Collins but she’s in a long line with other dishonest actresses like Sophia Loren, Michelle Pfeiffer, and too many others.

If it weren’t so evident just looking at Collins, perhaps she could get away with her denials but just examine her face. It is not the one she was born with.

Perhaps it’s the youth injections she receives from being married to a much younger man.

Yeah, therefore I love Barbara Eden! She admited recently that it’s very normal for people in Hollywood and that business to undergo plastic surgery. I don’t blame those actresses. They need to look young and fresh to survive in that youth-loving world!

The world revolves around looks and beauty and everyone likes a compliment. Just think of the pressure the Stars have to go through and we all have fantazied about being in the public “EYE.” If I had the money right now, I would get a chem-peel and spend a couple of days at the spa and I am a Male, age 40, of color and love looking and feeling confident.. for me. I told my sister when she married my brother- in – law to not let herself go and she did. It’s not about looks all the time but if you can enhance yourself physically and mentally, do it. Age is a figment of the imagination!!

Why do Olivia Newton-John, Victoria Principal or Linda Evans look so terrifible with plastic surgery? Joan Collins is older, but much prettier and more natural.

Of course Joan has had surgery. Her face has been tucked up behind her ears. It’s been done very cleverly, but is also very obvious. She has had the sense not to take things too far.

Joan looks great. She does not have to admit to anything. The public doesn’t have the right to look at her private life. Keep going, Joan!

Yes I also saw Joan on Paul O’Grady and yes for 78 years of age she looked amazing, although Paul had to help her walk down the stairs, but she was wearing platform shoes (amazing in itself). Joan is the master of illusion, with her wigs, corsets, uplift bra’s, very think heavy make up and false eye lashes, the carefully selected clothes etc etc.

She has two things going for her, first the motivation to keep the whole thing going, and second the money.

She is a modern day Marlene Dietrich, it is well document the lengths she went to, to create the illusion of youth well into her late 70s. And I would suspect with Joan its much the same. And I’m sorry but no one naturally has a jaw line that tight without surgery at 78 years of age.

I do believe that she has had surgery…great and carefully done..not overdone..nobody has that firm a jaw and neck at 78. I admire the way she is always working as an actress..she doesn’t need the money but has always worked hard and is a wonderful actress. In her early Hollywood roles she was a superb dramatic actress..an btw her face was quite full and has naturally thinned over the yrs. but she must have had her jaw/neck done. STill a very great beauty

I’m not sure if I believe that Joan Collins has had plastic surgery or not. But I will say that if she has not had plastic surgery she has had to work hard on her looks. I know that over the years I have worked my tail off to remain somewhat youthful looking. Someone asked me had I had any work done. At that time I was about forty-eight years old. It is hard work, working out. Not over indulging. Making yourself go to bed to help rejuvenate your skin. Keeping your stress level down and not smoking and only drinking a little, occasionally. No I have not had anything done. I am to afraid of the results. I would wear tons of make-up, eyelashes, wigs and figure flattering clothes forever to to keep my youthful look. I will slather stuff on, spending precious time wiping it off before I ever have any sort of plastic surgery. I absolutely refuse the knife. However, I’m going to have to eventually consider bunion surgery. Well at least that will allow me to wear more attractive shoes, I hope.
