I’ve recently been asked by CNN.com’s Health Page editors to write some blog posts for them. So far, I’ve written three articles which have all gotten quite a bit of attention. I’m proud of them, and hope you enjoy reading my thoughts! They’re written in the vein of my memoir, In Stitches. Here they are:
Thank you to CNN.com for inviting me to be a contributing writer. Keep checking back at CNN.com’s The Chart for more of my articles!

For those of you who missed it, this is from today’s Fox and Friends. I debated my friend and prominent New York plastic surgeon Dr. Jennifer Walden about whether plastic surgery may be a solution to bullying. In general, I don’t think it is. For more background on this story, click here for yesterday’s post on this topic.
Thank you to Fox and Friends and Dr. Jennifer Walden. To read her blog, click here.

Here is the official IN STITCHES video trailer. Before selling my book, I didn’t even know that many books, just like movies, have video trailers… except with a MUCH lower budget. Even though there is no CGI, actors, or 3-D, I’m really proud of this one. I actually put the whole thing together myself, and think it really exhibits the tone of IN STITCHES like nothing else could do.
I hope you enjoy it. If you do, head on over to the IN STITCHES website here and/or please send a link to a friend using the buttons below! Thank you!

Sad case in Florida recently. A young woman underwent liposuction and died. According to HLN sources, the physician had his hospital privileges recently revoked. My sympathies to her husband, who is obviously very distraught about this terrible tragedy.
Make sure to do your homework. Only have your plastic surgery performed by a real plastic surgeon certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery and in an accredited surgery center. You may be taking unnecessary risks if you do anything otherwise. A ‘cosmetic surgeon’ is NOT the same as a real plastic surgeon.
Thank you to the HLN ISSUES staff and Jane Velez Mitchell for having me on your program again!
